On Tuesday evening, Collierville, Tenn. (St. George’s - Collierville) wide receiver recruit Isaac Smith announced via his Twitter account that he verbally committed to the Wisconsin Badgers.
Smith is listed as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and a two-star prospect by Rivals, and he announced his commitment after taking his official visit Saturday against Central Michigan.
The 6-foot-3-inch wideout weighs in at 185 pounds, and his size is complemented with a good pair of hands. Wisconsin beat out other offering schools which included Missouri, Army and Cornell.
Smith is a bit of an under-the-radar type recruit and has significant upside because of some of his positive immutable characteristics.
