The Badgers added another piece to their future defensive puzzle Monday afternoon as defensive end Cade McDonald committed to the University of Wisconsin after receiving an offer from the Badgers just a few days ago. McDonald was also considering Illinois State, North Dakota, and South Dakota before announcing his commitment to Wisconsin.
McDonald is currently rated as a two star strong side defensive end by 247Sports and is unrated by Rivals. However, at 6’7” and 240 pounds it’s clear that the Badgers coaching staff sees a lot of potential in the Hudson, Wis.
