Wisconsin received another piece of the puzzle for its class of 2019 when Bellflower, Calif. (St. John Bosco), outside linebacker Spencer Lytle verbally committed to UW on Saturday. He announced his decision via Twitter.
Lytle is rated a high three-star recruit by 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals, with the 247Sports composite rankings designating him as the No. 28 outside linebacker in the nation. He also recently claimed the honor of being named to the 2018 Butkus Award high school watch list.
Rivals noted 42 offers for Lytle, with the linebacker telling B5Q back in June that both Wisconsin and Clemson were his top schools.
