Another talented football player from Fort Lauderdale’s St. Thomas Aquinas High school finds his way to Madison, as cornerback Semar Melvin announced on Monday that he verbally committed to Wisconsin.
Melvin is rated a four-star prospect by Rivals, a three-star recruit by 247Sports (both composite and standalone) and ESPN. 247Sports composite rankings list the South Florida native as the No. 60 cornerback in the nation, with Rivals designating him as the No. 40 corner in the country.
