Folks, mark your calendars for October 29th, 2019. The Winnipeg Jets are set to take part in another Heritage Classic, this time against the Calgary Flames.
NHL commissioner Gary Bettman announced that the two Canadian teams would meet in the middle to play an outdoor game, settling with Mosaic Stadium. For those who don’t know, Mosaic Stadium is home to the CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders. Many Winnipeggers may know of this stadium, as the rivalry between our Blue Bombers and the Roughriders is intense. The stadium normally holds about 33,350 people.
