Josh Morrissey will be fined $8,467.74 for unsportsmanlike conduct on TJ Oshie of the Washington Capitals. This comes after Morrissey slamed Oshie to the ice, during a battle in the corner. Oshie was quite shaken up, taking a few seconds to return to his feet and make his way to the bench.
The incident happened with just over a minute left to play in the third period. Washington had their goalie pulled and the score was 2-1 for the Winnipeg Jets.
