Winnipeg Jets face tall task in Ducks

If anyone was to predict that the Winnipeg Jets would make the playoffs before the season started, I may have laughed at them or accused them of lying. The task becomes even more unbelievable when taking into account the poor play by Winnipeg’s star player Evander Kane, his subsequent trade, and the suspension of their newly proclaimed best player, Dustin Byfuglien. However, despite all of these misfortunes, the Jets showed character and experience, warding off the defending champion Los Angeles Kings to claw their way in Lord Stanley’s playoffs.

On the other side, the Anaheim Ducks continue their consistency by winning their third consecutive Pacific Division crown, and go into the playoffs as one of hockey’s hottest and most talented teams.
