The Winnipeg Jets signed their second first round pick from the 2016 NHL Entry Draft after Patrik Laine, Logan Stanley, to a three-year entry-level contract with the Winnipeg Jets. Logan is currently playing with the Windsor Spitfires in the Ontario Hockey League, and will continue to do so for the remainder of the season.
The six-foot-seven, 227 lb behemoth of a shutdown defensemen was the 18th overall pick of the Winnipeg Jets, when they moved up four spots in the draft to select him. This season in Windsor, Stanley has two goals, and seven assists good for nine points in the 20 games he’s played in.
