The Winnipeg Jets have dropped below the Dallas Stars, taking up fifth place in the Central Division. This isn’t exactly what it looks like, however. The Jets are one point behind Dallas, but our record is still not completely terrible, at 13-8-2. The reason we’re so low is because we have so many games in hand on other teams. We have an entire three games on Dallas, one game on Minnesota, and two on Nashville and Colorado.
Saying that, I don’t believe this necessarily excuses us from the fact of where we are.
