CALGARY — What’s wrong with the Winnipeg Jets?
For much of the first half of the season, especially since things went sideways in early November, the NHL team just can’t find enough difference-makers on any given night.
Goaltenders? Nope, not many of them putting the team over the top.
Special teams? Turn the page.
The team’s best players? There have been outstanding and consistent efforts by the likes of Blake Wheeler and Bryan Little most of the season, but two players cannot carry a team anywhere worthwhile.
This all-encompassing and familiar tale played out again Tuesday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
