The identity of the new Winnipeg Jets captain will be known by lunchtime today.
The Winnipeg Jets have called a media conference for noon at which the National Hockey League team will announce its team captain and the alternate captains.
The big reveal will take place at the MTS Centre.
Andrew Ladd, the former captain, was moved to the Chicago Blackhawks on the trade deadline last February and has since signed with the New York Islanders.
