NASHVILLE — On a night of herculean efforts by many of their biggest stars, it was 6-0, 180-pound Brandon Tanev who lifted the Winnipeg Jets to their biggest victory of the 2017-18 season.

The third-liner’s clutch goal, his third of the season with 1:26 left in the third period, proved to be the winner as the Jets surged to a 6-4 triumph over the Nashville Predators in NHL action at Bridgestone Arena Tuesday.
