The New York Rangers have traded center Kevin Hayes to the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for a 2019 first-round pick, forward Brendan Lemieux and a conditional pick ahead of Monday's deadline, according to Bob McKenzie of TSN.
Hayes, 26, was one of a number of Rangers on the block as the team looks to rebuild. He has posted 42 points (14 goals, 28 assists) in 51 games played this season and will be a free agent this summer.
