No decision on if the salary cap will stay flat or not
Andy Strickland: The NHL players were told recently on a call that the salary cap will remain at $81.5 million for next season.
- Pierre LeBrun: An NHLPA spokesman said that this is not accurate and that no decision on next year’s cap has been made.
As mentioned a few weeks ago thinks they could freeze the salary cap for a few years at close to this seasons’ number or close to it is a possibility.
