Peruvian jockey looking to win riding title for first time
This could be his year.
Jockey Adolfo Morales has never won the riding title at Assiniboia Downs, but if his performance last Friday night is any indication, he’s in career form and it could be his time.
That’s saying a lot for the former leading apprentice at Aqueduct and the only jockey in history to win Peru’s version of the Triple Crown, the Quadruple Triple. Morales won four of the seven races last Friday night at the Downs and the talented hand rider barely lifted a finger on his mounts.
