Minnesota tops Winnipeg 4-2 in first match of the season

ST. PAUL -- It didn't take long for the Winnipeg Jets and Minnesota Wild to renew acquaintances -- and re-discover their mutual dislike for each other.

But unlike their first-round playoff series last spring, it was Minnesota that came out on top as the teams met Friday afternoon at Xcel Energy Center.
