Winnipeg Jets Bryan Little is out indefinitely after an injury during the team's home opener Thursday.

The Winnipeg Jets have lost centre Bryan Little to a long-term injury, the club confirmed Friday.

"Bryan's out indefinitely," head coach Paul Maurice said, following a noon-hour skate before the team boarded a flight bound for the Twin Cities to face the Minnesota Wild Saturday evening in St. Paul.

"It'll be a longer-term injury. We'll have a better idea how long in a couple of weeks," he said, adding Little won't require surgery.
