Lightning up 3-2 on Jets after two

The Winnipeg Jets will turn to Ondrej Pavelec for a third straight start tonight when they meet the Tampa Bay Lightning at the MTS Centre at 7 p.m.

The Jets, at 4-2-0, continue their six-game homestand with Game No. 3. This will be Pavelec’s fifth start of the season.

"I looked at the schedule," head coach Paul Maurice said this morning at the MTS Centre. "The decision on who’s going to play the bulk of the games isn’t going to get made until later, when our schedule gets heavier.

"We’re going to get into — I haven’t used the word ‘rotation’ — but we’ll see more of both guys in our heavier stretch.
