The Winnipeg Jets agreed to terms with restricted free agent forward Brandon Tanev on Thursday.
Tanev’s deal is a one-year, two-way pact worth US$874,125 at the NHL level.
Tanev, 24, signed with the Jets as a free agent at the end of March following the completion of his senior year at Providence College, where he scored 15 times and added 13 helpers in 38 games this past season.
Tanev made his NHL debut on April 5 on the road against the Anaheim Ducks and played two more games for the club, failing to register a point.
