The Pens (30-21-8) got shellacked 5-1 by the Bruins in Boston in their last game Wednesday.
Winnipeg is facing Pittsburgh just as the Penguins get sniper Evgeny Malkin back from injury. Malkin missed 10 games with an undisclosed ailment but is expected to finally make his return to the Pens lineup against the Jets.
Despite missing a month, Malkin is still the Penguins second leading scorer with 23 goals and 26 assists in 49 games. Sidney Crosby leads the Pens in scoring with 25 goals and 31 assists.
