The Winnipeg Jets have their fingers crossed for a quick return of Bryan Little from injury.
The Jets No. 1/1A centre missed Saturday’s loss to Florida after a nasty collision with Tampa Bay Lightning defenceman Anton Stralman last Thursday. He apparently had his neck X-rayed after the Tampa game and was kept out of the contest against the Panthers two nights later.
But Little was back on the ice Monday at MTS Iceplex wearing a yellow non-contact jersey and pushed his pace hard. He was to meet with doctors after practice and was not available to the media to provide an update.
