The Winnipeg Jets got a last-minute surprise addition to their playoff lineup Monday night. Or at least the cheering section, in this case.
Hall-of-Famer Teemu Selanne flew into town just in time to join the Whiteout and attend Game 6 against the Nashville Predators at Bell MTS Place.
Selanne posted a pair of links on his Instagram page earlier in the day that got locals buzzing. The first showed a flight map out of California, where he lives. The second was a video of his family on a plane. The camera panned around the interior of the flight, eventually finding Selanne sitting in the cockpit beside the pilot wearing an original Jets jersey with his name on the back.
