WASHINGTON – The Patrik Laine versus Alexander Ovechkin show more than lived up to the hype Monday night, with each scoring milestone goals in their careers.
But Evgeny Kuznetsov had the final say, scoring with 48 seconds left in overtime to give the Washington Capitals a 3-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets.
Winnipeg dropped their second straight game on this season-long road trip, falling to 3-2-1.
