A much needed breather behind them, the Winnipeg Jets will get right back to the NHL grind Thursday night with the first of back-to-back games.
The Jets play the Columbus Blue Jackets at home Thursday night and then the Chicago Blackhawks in Chicago on Friday night -- the seventh time this season the Jets have played back-to-back games and the second time they’ve done so in less than a week.
The good news? The Jets are 5-1 in the first game of back-to-backs this season and have outscored their opponents a combined 21-12. The bad news? The Jets are 2-3-1 in the back half of back-to-backs.
