Jets face Oilers with a healthy respect for damage McDavid can inflict

Arguably the world's best hockey player visits Bell MTS Place tonight and the Winnipeg Jets are mindful of the damage he can inflict.

Fourth-year centre Connor McDavid and the rest of the surging Edmonton Oilers meet the Jets (19-9-2) in a clash of Western Conference rivals. Game time is 7 p.m.

McDavid has 17 goals and 26 assists for the Oilers (17-12-2), who have won four straight and are 8-2-1 in 11 games since the organization moved on from Todd McLellan and hired Ken Hitchcock as head coach.
