Jets end 6-game skid by beating Canucks 4-1

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) Mark Scheifele and Drew Stafford each had two goals and an assist and the Winnipeg Jets beat the Vancouver Canucks 4-1 on Wednesday night to end a six-game losing streak.

Mathieu Perreault had three assists and Ondrej Pavelec made 29 saves for the Jets.

Stafford put the Jets up 1-1 late in the second period with his first goal in 12 games. He scored again with 1:34 left in the game into an empty net.

Winnipeg was outscored 27-10 during its skid and had allowed 5.
