Clearly there was no major cause for concern — the Winnipeg Jets didn't suddenly lost their ability to score goals in bunches.
After getting blanked by the St. Louis Blues in a rare offensive outage on Friday night, the Jets came out with a purpose Sunday afternoon in pounding the Philadelphia Flyers 7-1 at Bell MTS Place.
Perhaps most encouraging is the balanced way in which they did it. Winnipeg got goals from seven skaters, including three on the power play, three at even strength and one shorthanded.
Winnipeg improves to 18-9-2 and sit just one point back of Nashville and Colorado for first place in the Central Division, with a game in hand on both clubs.
