Jets drop third game of the pre-season 1-0 to Wild

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Veteran blue-liner Jared Spurgeon scored the lone goal and Alex Stalock made 21 saves for the shutout to lift the Minnesota Wild to a 1-0 victory over the Winnipeg Jets in NHL pre-season action at the Xcel Energy Center.

Connor Hellebuyck made 22 saves in his second appearance for the Jets, who fell to 0-2-1 in the pre-season.

Veteran Jets forward Joel Armia left the game in the second period with an undisclosed injury and did not return to the game.

The Wild, now 2-0 in the pre-season, went 0-for-3 on the power play.
