Winnipeg Jets captain Andrew Ladd didn’t report any progress on talks for a new contract this morning, but he chose the optimistic side for his view on the situation heading into the final year of the five-year contract he signed when he first came to Winnipeg.
Ladd arrived this morning at Glendale Golf and Country Club for the Special Olympics fundraising golf tournament and spoke to reporters just before he teed off.
"No update," Ladd said on the contract question. "I had that question before I got off the plane.
