Dustin Byfuglien will miss at least a month of action for the Winnipeg Jets.
The veteran defenceman sufferred an apparent ankle or leg injury in Saturday afternoon''s 3-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild in Winnipeg.
Coach Paul Maurice provided an update on Byfuglien's status following Sunday's practice, saying the earliest time for a return is after the All-Star break, which is Jan. 25 to 27.
It's possible the injury could keep him out even longer, but Maurice wouldn't talk about the worst-case scenario. No surgery is required, and no other details were provided.
