The Winnipeg Jets opened a three-game road trip with a 5-3 win over the St. Louis Blues at the Scottrade Center Tuesday night.
Mark Scheifele, Patrik Laine, Nikolaj Ehlers, Jacob Trouba and Blake Wheeler scored for the Jets, while Alex Steen, Vladimir Tarasenko and Alex Pietrangelo added goals for the Blues.
With the win, the Jets improved 24-25-4 and will carry a two-game winning streak into Dallas Thursday after beating the Chicago Blackhawks 5-3 before the NHL All-Star break.
The Blues fall to 24-21-5 and have now lost five of their last six games, including twice to the Jets, who defeated St.
