CALGARY -- It was a juicy "Hockey Day in Canada" match-up between the country's best team and the country's hottest team.

Perhaps not surprisingly, it needed more than 60 minutes to settle on a winner. More than 65, actually.

In the end, the Winnipeg Jets edged the Calgary Flames 2-1 in a shootout Saturday. Blake Wheeler and Bryan Little scored in the skills competition while Connor Hellebuyck turned away both Calgary shooters.
