James Jones wears hoodie in Minnesota and it is legal

Those watching Sunday’s game between the Vikings and Packers at TCF Bank Stadium in Minnesota probably noticed something unusual sticking out the back of James Jones’ jersey.

Yes, the Green Bay wide receiver was wearing a hoodie underneath his jersey for the game. Jones wearing the hoodie led to questions about whether or not it was legal given that it’s so uncommon. FOX NFL rules guru Mike Pereira explained that it’s no different from a towel:

Jones led the Packers with six catches for 109 yards and a touchdown in the game.
