Thousands of hockey fans will be making the trip to Investors Group Field this weekend to take in the festivities around the NHL Heritage Classic outdoor games between the Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers.
The alumni game, featuring players from the past, including some Hockey Hall of Fame inductees on both sides, is set for Saturday at 3 p.m., followed by Sunday’s regular-season tilt between the 2016-17 editions of the Jets and Oilers that gets underway at 2 p.
