CALGARY, Alberta -- Johnny Gaudreau had his second hat trick of the season and the Calgary Flames beat the Winnipeg Jets 4-1 on Tuesday night, tying a franchise record with their 10th straight victory at home.
With the Flames nursing a 2-1 lead, Gaudreau scored a key goal at 15:41 of the third period. After failing to corral a bouncing puck that would have given him a breakaway, he promptly stole it back and put a high shot over the shoulder of Michael Hutchinson.
Gaudreau completed his hat trick with an empty-net goal less than 3 minutes later.
