MONTREAL (AP) Tomas Fleischmann had two goals and an assist to lead the Montreal Canadiens to a 5-1 win over the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday night.
Paul Byron, David Desharnais and Lars Eller also scored for the Canadiens, who have a league-best 22 points (11-2-0) and remained perfect at home (5-0-0). Mike Condon stopped 18 shots to improve to 4-0.
Chris Thorburn scored for Winnipeg, spoiling Condon's shutout bid with 6:03 remaining.
Michael Hutchison gave up four goals on nine shots for the Jets, and was pulled after giving up Desharnais' goal early in the second period.
