But hockey fans at Investors Group Field ate it up.

The Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers alumni squads put on a terrific show Saturday afternoon -- the first half of the Heritage Classic weekend.

For the record, Teemu Selanne scored on a penalty shot with just 3.6 left in the game to give Winnipeg a 6-5 triumph. He was tripped up by Oilers' Craig Simpson and was given a penalty shot on goalie Curtis Joseph.
