SWITCHING SIDES: Sunday's line combos -- they could change today -- featured Nikolaj Ehlers being flipped from right wing to the left side with Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler. Ehlers played both sides in junior and Maurice likes the versatility that could give him when he fires up the line blender.
"He's comfortable on both, we just haven't seen enough work with him on the left side to move him there," said Jets coach Paul Maurice. "I would like him to play on the left side at times. I really like him on the right, but a player like that, if I can get him on both sides it just opens up a lot of doors for changing later in games and getting him with different people.
