Copp arrests goal drought

The Winnipeg Jets started their four-game road trip on the right skate with a 3-2 victory over the the Columbus Blue Jackets Saturday night.

Paced by first-period goals by Brian Little, Andrew Copp and Blake Wheeler, the Jets chased Blue Jackets goalie Sergei Bobrovsky after the opening frame.

Brandon Saad beat Jets keeper Ondrej Pavelec in the first period and Scott Hartnell bulged the twine late in the third with the Columbus net empty, but it was too little too late for the Ohio club.
