The Calgary Flames are not short on elite rookie talent.
First, there was Sean Monahan, who’s posted 53 goals and 96 points through his first two NHL seasons. Then came Johnny Gaudreau, who’s taken the league by storm this season, tying for the lead in rookie scoring with 64 points and throwing his name into the conversation of rookie of the year.
