The Wichita State baseball team will try to end a six-game losing streak this week in an American Athletic Conference series against Central Florida at Eck Stadium. The Shockers play at 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday with a 10:30 a.m. start time on Saturday.
WSU had won 11 of 12 games to make a mid-season push for a NCAA Tournament bid, but those hopes have since been dashed by losing a series at Tulane, squandering multiple chances in a 1-0 midweek home loss to Oklahoma State and getting swept at home by Houston last weekend.
