WSU offense falters against Temple, snap nine game winning streak

Sophomore Erik Stevenson questions a call made against the Shockers during the game against Abilene Christian on Sunday, Dec. 29.

Wichita State has had their problems with Temple over the years. Coming into the night, the Shockers had never won a game at the school in Philadelphia, were 3-2 all-time leading the series. After Wednesday night’s game in the Liacouras Center, the all-time series is now tied, 3-3, after a 65-53 Owl win.

The Shockers came out of the gates hot. Sophomore point guard Jamarius Burton was finishing his looks from the field, scoring eight of the team’s first 12 points.
