PATTERSON, La. - The Wichita State men's golf team is in fourth place after carding a 293 on the first day of the Atchafalaya Intercollegiate. Only one round was played today, as play was postponed due to inclement weather.
Grant Bennett, Yannik Emmert and Max Mason are both tied for 16th place after shooting a 73 in the first round, good for +1 over par.
Jacob Bishop and Alec Heinen are tied for 24th after shooting a 74, putting them +2 strokes over par.
Conrad Walcher is competing as an individual at the Intercollegiate.
