IRVING, Texas – The Wichita State women's tennis team has been named the No. 7 seed in the upcoming American Athletic Conference Championship, which begins on April 17 at SMU's Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex in Dallas, Texas.
The Shockers (12-9) have earned a bye in the opening round and will face off with the No. 10 seeded Tulsa Golden Hurricane (11-11) on Thursday at 3:00 PM Central.
It's the second consecutive season the Shockers have faced off with Tulsa in the opening round of the Championship and will be the second meeting between the Shockers and Golden Hurricane this season.
