FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Shocker women's team finished second, while the men's team placed fifth Saturday morning at the 30th Annual Chile Pepper Festival.
Sophomore Winny Koskei led the women's team to a second place team finish with 116 points. The Shockers finished four runners in the top-50, including two in the top-5. Koskei, the American Athletic Conference Outdoor 10,000m and 5000m champion, finished third with a personal best time of 16:36.5. Redshirt junior Rebekah Topham rounded out the top-5 finishing fifth with a time of 17:00.3
Yazmine Wright ran a personal best time of 18:03.
