Women Finish First, Men Second at ESU Relays

EMPORIA, Kan. – The women won the ESU Relays with 114 points, while the men finished second with 132.5 points Saturday at Emporia.

Women

The women's team combined to have 13 top five finishes in the 22 scored events, including nine top three finishes and two event champions.

Senior Meghan Holmes won the triple jump with a mark of 11.99m/39-4 and Kendra Henry won the javelin with a throw of 43.88m/143-11.

Senior Jordan Maestas was the lone Shocker in the 3000m steeplechase running 11:40.
