Wichita State's Marcus Wochner is the American Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week.
Wochner finished third-place out of 108 entries at this week's Twin Oaks Intercollegiate in Springfield, Mo. He carded 13 birdies and an eagle across three rounds and was three shots under par to help the Shockers to a runner-up finish.
Wochner is WSU's first men's golfer of the week in four seasons since joining The American.
A native of Holte, Denmark, Wochner transferred to WSU this fall and has posted top-10 finishes in each of his first two tournaments with a 70.
