MONTGOMERY, Texas – Wichita State's Marcus Wochner will take a one-stroke lead into Tuesday's final round at the Huntsville Toyota Bearkat Invitational.
Wochner fired twin 70's in Mondays first and second rounds to move to 4-under-par. UT Arlington's Kyle Cox is in second-place at 3-under followed by three others at minus-2.
The Shockers (292-299—591, +15) are fifth out of 15 teams. UTA (-2) leads the competition by five shots over host Sam Houston State (+3).
WSU's Brock Polhill (74-75—149, +5) overcame a rough start to claim a share of 24th-place out of 83 individual entries.
