Wichita State Track and Field Ends Hiatus with Shocker Prelude

WICHITA—After 11 months away from competitive track and field, the Wichita State track and field program took part in a meet and earned nine individual event wins in the process Thursday at the Heskett Center.

Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Steve Rainbolt said the biggest win of the day was the return to competition.

"It was really great to see the athletes back competing," Rainbolt said. "All around, I really was pleased to see a bunch of good efforts. Antonio Norman and Joseph Holthusen had great hurdles races.
