The Wichita State men's track and field team tied for second in the inaugural American Conference Indoor Track and Field Coaches' Poll, the conference announced Thursday morning.
Voted on by the head coaches around the conference, the Wichita State men received 49 points, including one first-place vote, tying with Charlotte for the No. 2 spot behind South Florida (64 points, 8 first-place votes) in the poll. The Shocker women received 66 points to tie with Memphis for eighth in the poll, while the Tulane women were selected to win the conference with eight first-place votes and 135 points.
